CEDAR STRETCHERS
Cedar is an extremely stable and lightweight timber which is moisture and insect resistant, due to its natural resins. It is less susceptible to warping and twisting than other timbers.
Cedar has been used in the manufacture of stretcher bars for many years, and is favoured by conservators, museums, galleries and artists wishing to provide the ideal support for paintings.
